Clayton Perlman is a real estate developer and commercial property professional that holds multiple business interests. He currently works for FRP Properties, LLC in New York City as a Principal. He also owns Brown’s Point Marina in Keyport, New Jersey. Owning and running a marina is about as interesting as it sounds. Yes, the marina is a great location that has easy accessibility to great fishing and cruising the waters. The marina itself is located right across the Ruritan Bay from Manhattan. From there, it only takes an hour or so from the dock to reach the South Seaport.
Boaters often access the Intracoastal Waterways of the Hudson River from there. There are many great views of New York City from the Hudson.
It’s not all Clayton Perlman running this show. He runs a full service facility with a full professional staff on deck to meet his customer’s needs.
Besides being a successful marina owner and property professional, Clayton Perlman ventures out on bike rides around the country. He has trekked across the states on long rides, training for weeks in advance for organized rides, and has joined expeditions into the mountains, plains and various lands this country has to offer. Filled with scenery, Perlman has gone on trips for weeks at a time, taking his specialized touring bike with him that lets him pack camping supplies and food to bring along. So you could say he’s a land and sea type of guy. He spends time on the water. He spends time in real estate. He spends time greeting people and their sea vessels as they board upon dry land. Then he goes across the land on a two-wheeled journey. This is a truly interesting mix of hobby and profession and Clayton Perlman is living his life on his terms.
